The Mariposa Midget Tri County team has had a good start to their season.
The boys have improved steadily and have worked as a team throughout the
season. We have fought through many injuries and have played short for
many of the games so far. We are beginning our second round robin and are
looking forward to some good results as we get healthy. Special thanks go
out to Justin McCarthy a first year bantam goalie who stepped up and
played for us for the last two months as a result of an injury to our
goalie Josh Kimble. Not an easy assignment to play against kids who are
much older. Justin stood his ground and played very well. Thanks to a
dedicated group of boys and our coaching staff.
